Krista Hendry
Senior Director, Strategic Growth & Development
Krista Hendry brings vast experience in communications, partnership building and improving intersectoral collaboration to Vigour Medica. She works with management teams to create, support and lead effective solutions. A former executive director of the DC-based Fund for Peace, she is adept at developing relationships and trust across sectors on complex issues, promoting dialogue and cooperation to create innovative results.
Among her accomplishments, Krista worked with the Public Health Institute in Indonesia in 2007 to develop a roundtable for healthcare organizations and potential private sector partners. This platform allows the representatives to share information about partnering and build stronger relationships to collaborate on projects that improve community health throughout the country. The initial roundtable was subsequently set up as an independent Indonesian NGO and today has over 350 member organizations focusing on community health and their private sector partners. She is also an Advisor to ACCESS Partnerships (formerly ACCESS Health Worldwide), an organization set up based on the success in Indonesia and which seeks to replicate that activity globally.

After a successful supply chain operations entrepreneurial career, Faisal Ghafar Co-founded Vigour Medica with a vision to be united as one team for global supply chain challenges in the health industry and help the organization secure access to quality medical supplies.
At Vigour Medica, we specialize in providing medical supplies to pre-hospital, emergency care, and humanitarian organizations worldwide, including Africa, the Americas, the Middle East and South East Asia, from first aid and first response equipment to essential Medicine, Surgical Supplies, and Kits.
As a customer, you benefit from our staff’s procurement and supply chain knowledge, long-established supplier relationships and quick delivery options for all of your medical supplies.
Mr. Ghafar holds a Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management from the University of Murdoch. He continues to grasp every opportunity to learn how to improve the business, create innovative supply chain solutions, and enhance his leadership skill set. He also enjoys cricket, riding horses and traveling.
